Located in San Jose, California. Market Post Tower was built in 1985 and is a 15-story, 289,965 sq. ft. multi-tenant carrier neutral telecom facility in the San Jose business district. Our DataCenter is a state of the art facility that has been engineered to the extreme to avoid any single point of failure in either power or connectivity.
The building is equipped with a total of 6 emergency and backup generators. These range from a 150KW to a 2,000KW unit. Power for all technical space environments is provided via automatic transfer switches that will seamlessly transfer power from our utility provider to our backup generators in a matter of seconds. Power is distributed to the various floors through a centralized conduit riser system. An additional 2000 KW generator will be added as demand increases. To help with Bandwidth and connectivity we have more than 4 providers to ensure speed and to ensure that your always connected.
The speed of RackFirm's always online connection enables multimedia rich pages to load almost instantly and easily accommodates audio and video streaming.
By developing our own Internet Data Centre and backbone, RackFirm has complete control over its expandable network ensuring service reliability, security and unlimited capacity for growth.
Manned, on-site security is present 24/7/365. Cardkey systems have been installed in all technical areas as well as elevator cabs, providing secured access to all building floors. This system will provide our tenants with around the clock access to their specific technical space.
Building Area: Approximately 289,965 rentable square feet. Typical floors have approx. 21,600 rentable sq. ft.
